i think the police should prosecute this guy. if it goes through and this guy have to do time in jail - it will inspire all those bullied in work to stand up for themselves!

Workplace bullying is not only physical abuse. Actually the mental abuse here is more potent than the physical ones and harder to track. Physical abuse is easily handled by criminal law under assault but there's no help given for workers who are abused mentally. i.e. when bosses side with bullies, turn a blind eye to unfair workload allocations, does not stop unreasonable and un-necessary work demands and instead threatens to sack you if you do not do stupid things that other people demand, nit-pick on all work even when same quality of work is given, singling out people for all sorts of reasons, bosses who isolate workers by assigning them a single job task that is different in nature from all other work tasks in the department, assigning someone to purely do administrative duties and open to abuse from everyone in that section. I've been suffering in this well-known hospital here for many months already and even once broke down in the office because the boss kept on picking on me and ranting at me openly in front of everyone during meetings. I realized that there is no avenue to seek help for here in SG. There are clearly-written laws in Australia against workplace bullying but none here in SG.
