how come got this type of bosses ?
sat sun keep calling staff to clarify work done. when she is nice to you (giving you compliment) and i am nice to her back, shortly after she will call me and ask me something about work which she said i never do properly. this is a lady boss who is around 50 years old le.
then got another younger boss who will call or sms at 1123 pm to ask about work-related matters !!! really crazy.
by the way, their styles apply to me and my colleagues, not only to me.

Thats why I would never work in a job with a female boss. Whenever I go for interviews, I make sure of that, to the extent of rejecting the job offer.

Get yourself a "work" line for customers/clients and a "personal" line for personal use.
leave you work phone at the office after work. You need to have personal life right.
MY problem with my boss is MIA and not contactable. So I think I am fortunate.

The typical boss with no life is like that.
As long as you are employed, this is the type of crap you have to endured.
If you are not happy, you just have to highlight to them and prepare to move on.

such bosses are lots...and kueh hoon (too much) wan la....workaholic ma...
but when reporters interview them, they will say:"oh..i always tell my people NOT to bring their work home....in fact, i make sure they have dinners with their families..work and no life is bad..."
boohoohoo.....its like that wan la.....

got some bosses or trying to be bosses one worse than this.
they even after office hours or weekends wants you to join them for happy hours, for dinners and lunch. during meeting always waste time tokin when the meeting eat up other employee's time in doing their own work and meeting other people on work related things. alwasy say these type of entertainment uses company money yearly got budget so don;t use wasted. in meetings i tell the boss and those hapy everday you hear them lets go eat lah that type
"hey guys, unless its really work related and an urgency to do so otherwise afdter office hours and during weekends its my own time, i had enough seeing colelagues everyday and i prefer to make freinds outside my job circles".

lol. which co is that? if customer call you at home, make sure also you give your boss hp no and home tel no to them in case they cant get you at your home tel no.

no lah.. i nv give.. my boss damn not happy when i duwan to give.. den he everyday also kah jiao me abt giving the home line to customers... i dulan.. i told him off in front of every one.. i say if on leave means i really got PERSONAL things to do. if im on MC means im really SICK. y not give the cust my home add too, in case i paralyse.
my ex-boss damn piss off w my attitude.. but i still didnt give. i dun even give my boss my hp # lor.. wat rights do the cust have to get hold of my hp # too? i say i only CSO not sales.. if anything abt work, they can email me or call me on my office line during office hrs. aft office hrs is my own time lor... i dun kah jiao u aft work hrs, u dun kah jiao me too...

why is your boss so fark up one? you should have challenged him, if he gives his home tel no to customer, I also give
your home tel no is private and personal. if customer cant get you in office, still got your colleagues around what. otherwise your boss is still around to address customer concerns.

Why need to argue with the boss? Just give any phoney lumber lor....... Some bosses think that when you are his employee, you give your whole body + soul to him.......... Only thing you can do is loon lor...... I tackle this shit by fantasisizing in my mind how to take my revenge on the boss one fine day........... it gives me a temporary relief.

reaally this type of boss poor EQ. most be the type work in one company for very long neveer ever changed jobs type.
once i went for an interview the lady (shallbe my immediate superior if i were to be hired) keep asking me if i were to be given the job can i do OT. My grade is OT that type cannot claim already. so i told her if there is a need to i will stay to solve any problems at my level and pass on to my subordinates once my part of the problem solved but she keeps insisting can i stay. fishy - this type is must be want to to also do the sudbordinate job because you cannot claim OT already - free and cheap labor.
Not for me though, some companies even stress on executive exempt staff doing their areas of work and they do not abuse or encourage higher level people doing lower level job.

ex boss lah.. so happy to have left that coy.. really fark up... he chinese... i do respect him for being in logistics n CS line for 15 yrs. but it still doesnt give u the right to force ur employees to give cust their home line..till now, i still think it's an unreasonable request.

Only HR has the personal details of every employee. some bosses may requirer hp to contact you but for desk job really don;t see the need. use the company phone line can oredi. i also encounter before one company there;s one laojiao in teh department suppose to have ALL and i mean ALL you personal details. this type of company ppolicy really sucks big time. How can some whho is not the HR dept have ALL your personal particulars? !
