I got a colleague who is a control freak. He often thinks that whatever he do is the right thing and whatever I do is the wrong thing. We worked together for almost 2 years and he has always been making me feel quite uncomfortable.
There was an incident whereby we were assigned a project task, during that period, he took leave for a week and went for holiday and thrown everything to the group. After his return, we continued the project and he became bossy asking us to do this and that. He keep telling us to do some unreasonable stuffs and this thing has been getting on my nerves for quite some times.
I am trying hard to control my anger as I do not want this thing turns ugly. I tried telling him I am feeling uncomfortable, he adknowledged it but still he continues to be his control freak. I think that I really couldnt stand him much longer, please help.
Talk to your manager about it.
kill him. if not, get someone to kill him
is the TS a girl?
Maybe he is interested in TS pussy..
well, i'll suggest the whole project group write him a letter, signed, CC to the manager explaining the displeasure and hope he could be more sensitive to people's feelings.
why not just whack him?
anyone providing "whacking" services here?

People call me the 2nd Bruce Lee because I like to whack people.

TS, your solution is here. quick PM him for more info on rates and charges for whack missions.
lol!
Is he your equal at work or are you reporting to him?
Garner support from other colleagues.
Take initiative to delegate tasks.
Reject harshly his ideas/proposals.
Once he realizes he's no longer in control, be softer to him.
Be inconsistent, keep him guessing; stressed and worried.
People would do anything to 'fit in' once they realize they're on the verge to be an outcast.
Else.
Get a new job.
We are equal, but he is like the "project leader" since he is in so much control.
Is there any way to reject his ideas/proposals without offending him?

reject his ideas....simple...just tell him straight in the face WHY his ideas are not going to work.Reject him based on the ideas...not based on who those ideas are coming from.
he may show black face for a few days but if he is professional enough about it...he should be fine.
