Say after working in a company for 2 years and you never get any increment. For eg, you started with a salary of 1.7k. After 2 years you did not get any increment so your pay is still 1.7k.
Do you think it is time for you to find a new job?
If the interviewer ask you why you want to leave your current company, you say that you wanted to look for better prospects because you are still getting the same salary after 2 years, do you think this is a good reason to give?
What if the interviewer ask is it because you are lously that is why after 2 years you did not get any pay increment? Than how to answer?

My friend
If the interviewer ask you why you want to leave your current company
I believe that I have learned enough from my current company, and I want to move ahead to learn from another great company like XXXX.
Next question:
Let's discuss about what you have learned from the previous company, and what do you think you can learn from our company...
So before they ask this, you answer it yourself first.

If you have work for long in your ex company you can say reasons like look for better prospects, want to learn new things etc.
What if you have only work a short period of time like say 2 or 3 months than you got sack or ask to resign on your own?
What reasons can you say during interview?
Say job not suitable and they will ask you why. Suppose you say your collegues don't want to teach you properly, office politics etc that is why you want to resign, than they will shoot you by asking you what if I employ you and you also find out that your collegues also don't want to teach you than will you resign..
That's why you are supposed to prepare for your interview
You are supposed to think through all these possible questions, and come up with the answers yourself.... Each and every person is different; there's no standard template for answering. We wouldn't know your life and what happened; only you know best.
Good luck :D

Friend, don't ever think of switching job, now market still haven't stable yet and you want resign? Alot of people is jobless outside and waiting for any job, if you left, there's plenty of people will replace your position, think about it:) If you really want switch job, i advise you after 2-3years time, let the time settle the crisis of downturn first.
Times are bad.... if the qualifications are not there, then it's best to hold on to your job till the skies are clear.
