Deteriorating products/services caused by office politics?

  As a white-collar worker myself, I can't help but to feel this way: 1) OP will ensure the best product ideas never be executed; only ideas from the most-OP-savvy employee will be selected. 2) OP will ensure the good service staff never be promoted; hence staff lost the motivation to service customers well. Humans beings seem to have forgotten only that by working together as a team, then success will come.

  Woo ..  I have the same thoughts too ..

  So it looks like we are not stading on the right side of the office politics.
