  I think you are probably somewhat lucky.

  I had one time an opposite experience. My boss wanted me to report to her whenever Im free!

  As for ur situation....I have a suggestion for u....try to use your free time to learn about the company workings...talk to your coworkers, ask them what they are doing, and why they are doing certain things in a certain way. Also talk to experienced or old/ senior people who have been there for a long time, about what the business is, how it works, and how the company make money.

  If you feel like it maybe you can offer your help to some of them. For instance after they show you something, ask them whether u can help them by doing something on their behalf.

  I think in this way you will not waste your time and u will not look free, and furthermore this is a good chance for u to build relations and increase ur internal knowledge, so in future you might have a good chance to somehow be transferred or be promoted to another position.

  No lar lol. In my department only have 1 guy. Sometimes he seems to slack also hehe ^^

  why must screen hack? Got hardware can do it one... But I dunno what it is called..

  I remember last time in sch comp lab, when I was giving training on 3D studio max, I can secretly look at the screens of each computer from the main one. Got this hardware, can key in computer location, and a switch on whether u want to control the keyboard of the computer as well.
