of cos it is possible, the electronic firms are doing that...the french only hv 35 hrs per week, we are still looking at 44 hrs max per week.
Less working life and more family life is ok, my main worry is more guys will hv more time for PRC gals, mistress, drinking, gambling and clubbing that may result in a poorer quality of life.

It is a matter of time, who knows yr frens going out or not? maybe they also go pubs, i see many single guy coming here alone, good for them, at least do their business here and buzz off, anyway, your circle of frens is too narrow.
4 days workweek possible-if you take out lunch hours and whatever breaks there is
it is possible you work 4-3, 4-3.
In Singapore there are some jobs where u work 4-3 4-3.
But it is usually shift work.

How about 4-3-3 or 4-4-2 or 3-5-2...reminded me of my Secondary Sch Girl's soccer team formation leh..I was a goalkeeper.

Cannot, i must take lunch...i need to have my rice with meat pao and veges..
yup, work half week is good. but you will get half pay.
and the boss must be sure it is as efficient as employing one guy work full week, so the job is most likely shift work in nature.
it's not about the work week
it's ur own time management
