lol. After getting the bonus liao , is it "safe" to resign now. Will the bonus be forfeited ? Not mention in the job interview and after my probation. Been working in the organisation for a over a year , time to look for a change.
Cant ask the HR personnel , otherwise the words get spread around. Gossips spread fast in my company. :p
By the way , havent found another job yet , just preparing for it. lol
Anyone got anything to share , should be an interesting topic to talk about. :D

Once the bonus is given out to you already, its yours.
I mean you can withdraw out all the money and then resign. But you will have to give 1 month notice for resignation. You will also have to check your contract/employment clauses and see whether you need to pay any compensation if you resigned/get sacked early.

That's cool. i have a friend working in DBS , he told me if you resign after the bonus is given out for a few months , would have to pay back part of the bonus. Cant really remember what he told me. If u get my point ?
depends on the company
like last time when i get bonus in dec....i need to serve at least one month after getting my bonus (earliest i can go is on the 1st feb)
i got a friend who is familiar with the HR people to help me ask...

Suprisingly , HR personnel didnt say anything about this during the orientation , not that i can remember in my case. Only mention need to give a 1 month's notice.

Find one first then resign , not resign first then find another. For me , it's time to find a new job , the prospect is very limited in my current organisation. Learnt very little in my current job , there is only so much i can learnt given the working environment & culture.
Wonderful colleagues there may be in my department , but reality bites. A yearly increment of less than $100 each year. I topped my colleagues in the increment cos' i am an effiecient & hardworking worker. :p
The world is so big out there & there are fatter paychecks out there. :D

Just sharing only. I thought it will be a good chance to find out more about different HR practices & broaden my horizon.

try to take leave and MC to go for interview.
maybe, find another job that you like first, then once everything secure, then quit this and move on. more safer i guess.
secure a job 1st before u resign
