When I was an intern at the bank, my colleagues were telling me, look at the banks located in the proximity, ABN, Standchart, etc, their workers knock off at 5+ from wednesdays onwards, they knock off at 6+ on Mondays and Tuesdays only.
For UOB, they start work at 8+ and knock off at 6+ everyday. I also heard, the pay is also one of the lowest. So, don’t work in local banks, got chance f**k off to a foreign bank.
that D bank rocks, man!!! my fren worked there for 2 years and he said by far it is the worst place he's ever been to.anyway, call me bias, i think most local and civil service job sucks.

I ever went for an interview with UOB.. the lao char bor interviewer was so stuck up and arrogant. For the first time I really felt like scolding an interviewer for interrogating me like a criminal. Who the hell she thinks she is?

me too. for bank officer trainee.
two women interviewers. 1 see, just quiet and took notes, stern. 1 ask, not so stern yet not so friendly too. -

Char bor, that is the way it is if they have no good reason to give you for asking you to go. That is the way of local companies, govt companies. If possible, don't work for local companies, banks and so on. Many times in these places, "Por" is the thing that can keep one going, sad but true.

not every company got OT unless ur work reali very big case... every1 earn so much OT oso dangerous cos they will feel expenses too much sure will cut manpower..
