Offered a better job

let's say you have just started work for this company for less than a week and then another company which you had went for interview previously called you up and offered you a better-paying job
would you resign your current company straight away and switch?
would you reject the new company?
if the new company offers $50 more? $100 more? $200 more?
some issues to consider for me are
- since you just started in the new company, not much baggage to carry forward like relationship with colleagues or working environment
- for the exact same reason, resigning after just working for a few days will cause some 'bad blood' between you and the company
- may get alienated and tekkaned as you serve out your notice period -
if u get a good offer n u real;i wan to join tat company then jz resign lo... tink trial period can leave early ba...

yes i have seen people who joined and left within a few weeks, some even a few days.
some have better offers while some found that they cannot adapt to the new environment and rejoin back the old company. -

the boss was a bit disappointed with me...
but i told him the reason why and he understood...

actually I'm trying to pull off such a stunt also lah, but then for me the situation is a bit more complicated.
currently im employed in this company and is stationed at the client's company. but then now the client company offers me a better deal. hence, if i resign, i will stand to disrupt the client company's projects, and ironically, i will join back the client company. haha but diff projects la
im thinking if i jump ship to the client company what happens if they found out that i pull a fast one on them, then later i kana how?

anyway, it was just a 3 months temp job...

It might be a bad idea to hop to a company in the same line, since a limited pool of talents usually circulate within the industry.
You never know when your ex-boss would cross-over and become your new manager. He might remember you and what you did

Even before knowing how they work, how the people work, i quit.
I may be going for a 100, 200 dollars incentive. but for that mere sum of money, u damage your own opinion of others.
In future, if u go to apply for another job, and suay suay, ur prospective job interviewer is ur colleague frm this company. how embarrassed will u be?.
I made the choice. I live with my choice. I give myself the chance, i shall take up the chance, at least i tried. U may not noe, this job may last u til u retire, as u like the company way of rewarding their employees and the way they operate?. -

4) whether more pay = more stress
5) staff benefit

then she resigned but told boss that she wana come back..
so she started work there for one week liao, she tender.. then within one mth, she's back to my company.
