How Do You Change Your Work Industry??

Example.. someone with experience from sales line... and he decided to get in another industry which he has no experience it in...
How does one do it? Create cover letter and explain why he wants to switch industry?...
or with the resume attached in the email... explain why he is suited for the job? etc etc -

sales can switch industry easily lah
cos the basics still the same, just tt the pdt or service is different..... very fast can pick up pdt knowledge one
F&B ppl can easily go into hotel line, customer service bcos the nature of the jobs are somewhat similar......
but if say an IT person working in IT company wanna change to banking & finance (be banker, not in IT dept) then tts bery difficult.... it's almost impossible to convince the employer tt u have the knowledge and skills to do the job well... unless there is relli a position where u can start neutral...... -

a few jobs that interact with kids that i can think of which u can try applying for are part time teacher, a tuition teacher, a nanny, a toy store assistant or a clown.
