resignation letter help

I would like to resign from my current company.
Since i'm still under 2 months probation, I have to give 1 week notice should I wished to resign.
Say I tender today which is 26/11/2007. 1 week notice means my last day will be this friday or next week tuesday?

depends. if in good relationship with your manager then ask him lor.
if not in good relationship, just tender and specify the last working day a week from now in the letter.
which means if tender today then the last day will be on friday. -
Not in good term with him. I think his attitude sucks.
So i'll put this friday.

Then follow the policy by the letter. 7 working days means 7 working days. 1 working week means 5 day if your office is a 5 day week. 5.5day if your office runs on 5.5 day week. Don't allow any opportunity to pin point any "fault" on you that the company can pin fault on you and make you pay back the company or dock your pay. I had a ex manager from DBS who was out of office for a month and used that to deny ever receiving my resignation and then dock my pay. He broke MOM basic law of employment. by right, is the day u tender (considered one day) then + another 6 days, include non working days.
u can state from effect & ur last day. -

For me I saved $300 - $500 each month.
So i should be able to survive maximum 2 months.
Now, will rest for a few days while waiting for employers to call me.
I submit some resumes yesterday. -
