I won't tell him as if shoving down his throat and expecting that he listens to me......

depends on how enlightened your boss is... I always say... I think like like like this but this kind of things got no right and wrong and so it is up to you.... and add: whatever you decide I am 100% behind it...

Coz, end of the day, watever path my boss choose to take , it will sure get to the goal 1... but the only difference is how much effort , how much time... Wat I can do ,hah??? Be a team player lor... try to help as much as I can ... I have no issues on decisions tat I cant make... -

If I am correct, I will get more money,
If things goes bad, I will get the boot.
its not my company and its not my issue. I am paid to work and strategy is not my business. That's why bosses are paid a lot more compensation and work a lot less so that they can think of strategy. People below is just to execute it. -
i did tried to be frank with my boss for once...not for personal gain, but rather for my project team.
then he went to whack that HOD...
and i also guessed my boss was frank to that HOD also..
so i am getting lotsa sh1t now -

I did try, and I've quickly learnt that only tell boss what he wants to hear.
Even if I'm right, and he's wrong, dun tell him the truth if it's not what he wants to hear...just shaddap. -
