go dream job A.... cos sooner or later u will go for job A... no need waste each other time...Originally posted by CoolMyth:I applied for two jobs. Call them job A and job B. Job B call me, ask me for interview, then offer me job which I accept because no reply from job A.
So now I work in job B. But then suddenly, job A calls you and ask you for interview.
The thing is job A is the dream job, based on its description anyway. So, again, let's say I go for job A's interview. Later job A say they offer me the post. What shall I do?
The thing with job B is that everything is nice so far, colleagues, boss, environment. Boss knows I know nothing, so willing to ease me gradually into the job.
So, like that how?
As a singaporean. You must first ask yourself this question.Originally posted by CoolMyth:I applied for two jobs. Call them job A and job B. Job B call me, ask me for interview, then offer me job which I accept because no reply from job A.

That's what I was thinking also....Originally posted by Wanda:What if you go for job A and then find that the colleagues and environment were not so nice? Will you regret? If not, then go for job A...
Let's say both pay the same.Originally posted by Xephone_xenon:As a singaporean. You must first ask yourself this question.
Job A and Job B pay got much difference anot.
In that case, you will have to ask yourself which job offers you better career advancement and matches your long term goals.Originally posted by CoolMyth:Let's say both pay the same.
Judging from my understanding of both jobs, both doesn't offer much advancement in terms of actual career advancement. Only thing is I can learn a useful skill in job B applicable in other areas whilst I dun think job A allows me the same thing.Originally posted by Paradise Lost:In that case, you will have to ask yourself which job offers you better career advancement and matches your long term goals.
On a side note, we once had a bank manager that joined and quited on the SAME day, within the space of 8hrs. Rumors were that he received a better offer from somewhere else.
