  What pschometric tests are you referring to? Abilities tests or personality inventories?
  
  With personality inventories, you are what you are, and if it fits they way the company works, there you go. Trying to BS your way through those is pretty pointless if the recruiter knows what he's doing - I had a fun 6 years catching people trying to smoke their way through those questionnaires.
