  I am making a mid-career change to become a teacher and has subsequently been offered by MOE.
  
  Just like to check with anyone here whether how they find a teacher's pay as well as the pros and cons?
  
  I have teacher friends..some provide positive and some negative comments..hmm.

  times have changed. during my time, if we behave badly, the teacher can slap and punish us and our parents back then will support the teacher, say we're also very naughty at home, they as teachers are right to discipline us.
  
  nowadays teachers can't do anything to their students, u punish them a bit, they complain to parents, next day parents complain to school. not forgetting having risks of being videotaped down by handphones and circulated on the web.
