Does yr boss pay u people back time off??? depends on what u are staying for..only for those very very urgent or important task. -

Act can be some type of consideration too ...
u have finish yr area of responsibilities and u r taking a break. U dont take yr break in front of people who r still working... Those people who r still working will get jealous 1 although they noe that u r right... It is easier to change yr concept rather than change those people's jealousy...
This is called acting... Acting is one of requirement to tachii responsibilities away... u need to noe to act in order to protect yrself...
Guan xi is very important... When a person have a bad impression on u, whatever u say even though u r 100% right, they still dont listen to u and give u trouble. When a person have a good impression on u, whatever u say even though u r 100% wrong, they still listen to u and follow u. -

if u have finished your work or the work is not urgent can be done tomorrow then i don't see why one should stay past 6pm. go home lah.
don't care what other people think about u lah. some people like to purposely stay back late just so to prove to others they are very hardworking. or if they are indeed busy, they are jealous others can get to go off earlier than them, even if it's after office hours.
these kind are the workaholic type and they expect others to be as workaholic like her/him as well. -

come in late morning..stay till wee hours in the morning...(like 6am in the morning)...the boss always give her last minute things to do..

coz they got a few mouths to feed..
and after staying in a job too long, they wun have the confidence of getting the same salary elsewhere.. and they are afraid to adapt to new environment/things. -

There are really 2 grades of job.
The rank and file means your job only requires and pays u up to 5p.m. on top of that OT chargeable.
As you go up higher you will know that staying back after the knock-off hours does not mean that you are trying to be hardworking or do not have a life. It simply means more leeway for you to manage your time and put in that extra hours when you have to organize or get things done. As such you have ample reason to go late for lunch and knock off later or on time. But as usual getting to work on the dot is a norm and should be observed.
So you guys knoe who you are and what you should to want to be.
I am just glad my first 2 jobs were rank and file, my last and present is flexi when to knock off so i can plan my own time. -

also must see what time the manager leave comapny last nte. if they leave late of course they can come late lah.
also next time when want to complain people come back for lunch late must see the time people leave for lunch mah. -
