Rejoining your ex-company

will u accept it? assuming u are the one who resignned in the first place and you're not happy with the current job?

Having said that, there was only 1 instance when I felt like joining back the same co, in a different division under a different boss, but in the end I didn't. -
at least 5 of my former colleagues rejoined my former company.

i have a senior who came back after a few months of resignation.
we welcomed his return since he's a capable person, a valuable asset. -

my senior left because we lost a old customer to a competitor. he is very familiar with the customer so i guess our competitor offers him a better deal to come over to take care of the customer.Originally posted by Wanda:Why did he leave? And why did he return?
turns out he don't like the new company's system of working and chooses to come back to us. we of course gladly took him back and offered him a higher position.

now my pay doubled...and i got a room...

it will give ur future or potential the feeling that u are using resignation as a threat to obtain higher salary.... -

I rejoined my ex-organization not because of higher salary but because of the job nature. I was posted to a new department with new responsibilities. Personally, i don't believe in that particular chinese saying. It smells more like ego and pride at stake and overriding what could possibly be a rational decision. Or swallow your pride and rejoin the company provided the policy/situation has changed?

what if after rejoining u found out that company is not worth staying, will u resign again? this situation looks a bit embarrassing right? resign, come back then resign again.
