I think ALMOST everybody lies in their resumes, the only question is to what extent ?
Example of a huge resume lie: Lying about a certain qualification/proficiency that you do not possess. Case in point: A prominent hotel group CEO lied about his qualifications and not found out after years in the job. (he was damn good as the CEO though, btw)
Example of a Moderate lie: Over exaggerating on your work experiences by months or even years. Done commonly by most people and deemed acceptable by some but a lie nonetheless?

Example of a small lie: Lying about what aspirations or long/short term goals that you have. I.e. My goal is to value-add and help the organization to lofty heights. (come on, who are we kidding on this?)
