Slightly OT, but I love the feeling of being able to meet clients and agencies in s/s shirt and jeans anyday of the week.

What does dressing casual means?
Are pants and sleeveless top / knit top considered casual for women employees?

depends on individuals. some guys from mon to thurs wear long sleeve, fri wear short sleeve or polo shirt.

Generally yes. But individual company policy applies.
I don't bother to dress down because it's extra work to figure out what's appropriate.

In that case, it means I'm usually dressed in smart casual, although I always have a jacket in my office. On Fridays, one can see even more casual dressing ..jeans and t-shirts are common...i think the casual friday is a self-declared one. -
I wear T-shirt and jeans for work in OFFICE proper everyday. I'm a guy.

oni bother to dress up a bit more formally or jian de ren when there are meetings or impt ppl visiting
for guys, i usually see them in polo tee or t-shirt or short-sleeve collared shirt and jeans, track shoes, loafers.....
some come in khaki pants -

so no need tie. I seldom tie anyways.
If go site i just wear cargo pants, depends . But i try to be as casual. he he
Depends where , when n who i meet i can wear how casual i want lo.
Anyways wherever my office , i got spare long sleeve , short sleeve and proper pants in my closet. So anytime if formal i can just change instantly. And some ties to choose from. So not much problem in clothings. -

the disavantage of dressing down to work on friday is that u never knew when your important customers/clients suddenly wants to hold a last minute meeting and u have nothing presentable to wear.

But so far.. there are some bosses that dun mind if we were caught unware of the situation n dun mind. But it just feels like everyone so informal thats all. he he. I think the whole point of formal proper clothing is make the situations or meetings serious lo. -

It's 'business casual' all week at my office. The HR policy on the BC dress code calls for a minimum (for guys) of a collared t-shirt with no advertising slogans and/or logos, and no denim jeans or shorts.
However, being in the IT field, this dress code is regularly flouted, especially at the height of summer when the weather gets hot and humid, and employees start showing up in bermudas and cargo pants. -
