  civil serpents are worse elsewhere .... a friend of mine from school came to my company for a job interview yesterday, and we had a chat ....
  
  he was working for the provincial department's health department ... and one of his colleagues, after she lost a big promotion to another colleague, simply decided to stop working .....
  
  she stopped taking any calls, refused to touch anymore paper work, and generally just slacked there painting her fingernails ......
  
  best of all .... they can't sack her cos she's a union member ......
