1) Always leave the company with a good note, because you never know when you will meet again
2) Must be mentally prepare if there is a counter offer. Some egoistic bosses like to counter you and than fire you.
3) Ensure that you read you existing employment contract that you are allow to join their competitors
4) Keep the resignation letter simple, dont need to talk too much co.ck

So just write in your resignation letter when that you resign and last day will be which day. the end . When ask why you resign - just say better offer !
Nothing much to say already - say already also no use, if can say will not resign already. -

im quite soft hearted de leh.. especially when my boss treats me quite well.. im afraid she will try to reason with me leh. aiyo...
altho i always say i wana tender, but hor.. im not really mentally prepared for it.. later she give me a black face after i tender till i leave the co.. then tekkan me.. then i jialat liao. -
bbb, can the company do without u? cos what if the boss decides to give a raise? will u stay?
anyway u don't have to worry about being tekan since u are going to leave in a month's time. seriously what can she do to you.
if u have really made up your mind just go for it. don't be so indecisive.
if u really intent to go, just clear all your leave first before u tender cos the employment contract may state that during the 1 month notice, staff are not allowed to take leave. -

she din even want to read my resignation letter..
juz took out calculator and calculated for me how much bonus i will get if i stay... blah blah blah.. and reasoned with me.. then she psycho my colleagues to persuade me to stay also..
arghhhhh the letters are back in my hands.

It is best to submit your resignation letter to your boss and cc to his/her boss.
If you have any problems about getting your pay after your one month's notification period is over and you've fulfilled the one month's job minus any outstanding leave due to you, report to MOM.

(Cite reason - if you REALLY want to resign). If the true reason is becos of your boss's attitude you cannot say so. He/She can make your last month a living hell and if u leave b4 your one month's notice, then YOU have to pay the company one month. Best to cite a reason that your boss cannot stop you from leaving. For e.g., going for full-time studies; migrating overseas; relative needs your help with his/her biz immediately; need a long break to regroup and destress as recommended by yr doctor
If you do not cite a reason, your boss might think you do not have a plausible reason to leave. Some bosses know it's hard to find workers so they will psycho and psycho their staff to stay.

raise salary?
so many ple left, so far only got one being offered to get a pay raise to match the competitor. And she rejected that offer.
