but there are special circumstances you cannot stand ur boss and tender before securing a job, or another company promised you a post (know that person quite well) but din give it to you after you tender. (the 2nd case is the worst )Originally posted by rainee:i will usually only tender my resignation after i have secured a job sumwhere else...
i tot i cud quit this july and go to spore to work, but looks like situation is not permitting i mite have to stick here until maybe end of this year or next year
depends on ur employment contract also, usually will need u to give at least 1 month notice, and of cos if u wan to get a good testimonial to give to ur next employer, better to leave when everyone is happy
When u get offered a job today that is to start next week, get an appointment letter from yr new employer immed on the spot. If he call you to announce that u have got the job, ask him to pls email u the appointment letter immed.Originally posted by Ah Cek:but there are special circumstances you cannot stand ur boss and tender before securing a job, or another company promised you a post (know that person quite well) but din give it to you after you tender. i know.Originally posted by Gordonator:When writing a letter of resignation, it's important to keep your resignation letter as simple, brief, and focused as possible. It should also be positive.
Once you have made the decision to move on, there's no point in criticizing your employer or your job. Your letter of resignation should include information on when you are leaving. You you can also let the employer know you appreciate your time with the company.
no need put NRIC no. or staff ID?Originally posted by Gordonator:short and sweet will do.
