Everything you do in office must be in black and white

that's right. it is very important that everything u do in the concrete jungle must be in black and white. for example if the seniors wants u to do something, never ever agree to doing anything just through the phone. make sure u ask them to send an e-mail first before u do it.
why? cos there are always assholes in the office that whenever things goes wrong, will suddenly act blur, deny everything and push the fault to others. so if u have the e-mail as proof, at least u are safe.
another example is returning or hand over stores/equipments etc to another person. make sure the person aknowledge that he/she have taken over the thing from u by sending an e-mail to all parties involved. cos if u don't do that and when the thing got missing, that asshole can just say no he didn't recieve it from u and in the end, u got to pay for it.
best is return it face to face to the person, if he/she is not around, never leave it on their desk and walk away. if it goes missing, he/she can deny everything. best is have a witness with u so that he can prove that the thing was handed over. -

also never sign and draw any stores on someone else's behalf. cos if that bugger loses it, it is u who got to pay for it.
additionally, never ever ask someone to return something to another person on your behalf, if anything goes missing, either party can just play dumb, the returner can say he already returned it, the receiver can say he never received it. in the end who kena? you loh.

er.. emails not full proof..
got 1 period hor.. many ppl sent me emails but all i didn receive.
it was a send to many ppl and cc shinta kinda email..
or email shinta cc many ppl kind..
everyone got their email except me.
i ask IT... they didn help me check.. den they told me to inform everyone verbally/via msn.. so i put on my msn display my email got problem bla bla bla drop me a msg when u send me any mails
almost half a year later.. IT ask me why i put that for display name..
i told the fella u told me to tell everyone.. i scared they forget so i put liddat lor

if a company is ISO-certified, it has to follow procedures and protocols.....
sets of SOPs are implemented throughout the office....down to the most minute thing you can think of.....
every request or change has to be supported by a form or proper channel....
even to sign out a pen from the inventory, u oso need to fill in form and seek approval.....
alotta ppl think this is damn time wasting and delays things but when there's trouble, it would be easier to trace......
this oso prevents blame-pushing and ppl acting blur.....bcos if u do something but it's not being document, u will get into trouble.....and if ISO comes and see that something is not adhered with the SOPs, the company will be fined...
and if there are any small changes to be made, it has to go thru ISO and be approved before it can be used officially...... -
