Should You Call Back?

  Lets say for example, you received few missed calls from your prospective employer after sending out your resume and due to some reasons, you did not notice the calls, should you call them back?

  No.
  use miss call as form of filtering system
  if the new company call again, better chance.
  
  call back only, inform them you are having another company on line, say sorry for not picking up the call????????

  And what happens if the company is a big organization and the number displayed on the phone is their main number? And not from the respectives department... meaning all number called out from their various depts will be shown as their main number.

  Then you can politely ask if anyone from the company called you earlier, maybe suggesting that can it be the HR department that might have called you?

  My potential employers called and leave a msg/job offer. I only call back to confirm it, or else I just ignore.

  i emailed 1 prospective employer.. sayin i'm gg to call her today...
  but dunno what time to call leh =(
  
  i'm at work.. =X and we had our interview last monday, 8 jan @ 7pm

  call after the lunch break lor, and anytime before 5...they shud be in at dat time

  Call after lunch..like after 2-3pm to be safe.
  
  Cos after lunch, they eaten edi, feel satisfied and generally would be better mood.
  
  If you called just before lunch of just before 5pm, could be a different story

  better to call n check then keep waiting for an answer. Then u dun have to waste time waitin for them so can move on n look for other companies

  it will be good to drop the person an email and thank the interviewer for the time and u very eager ..hope she reply soon..stuff like that

  I'm still waiting anxiously for the call to come over and seal the deal. If all goes well, I hand in my resignation letter end of this week.
