hmm yea, but have to see oso la whether the company is good to u or not...if they have been nice to u, quite hard to quit leh, esp if you are someone who is hard to be replaced by the comp...Originally posted by pie:Its pointless to be loyal to any single company these days. Just move on if you are able to.
i remember one of my previous colleagues said: why tink so much for the company when it is not thinking of you at all?Originally posted by ditzy:Company good to me or not is no use. If I'm not good to myself, its not the company that's going to die in the future.

For me its not totally about the money. I'm not going to grow if I stay where I am now. Even if you throw me 500 bucks more, I'm going to say sorry, I don't want to trap myself.Originally posted by iLuVpOrKyPiG:2 of my colleagues holding the same position did it together and got a few hundred for increment.
that shows how lousy the management is.
My exact sentiments. Push yourself as much as you can, see how far you can go. Now that's something worth remembering. You don't just want memories of that cushy job in the office surfing the net day in day out. Save that when you're old and your bones start to creak.Originally posted by pie:If you're young, its better to move than to be stagnant, even if the environment is nice. Unless you intend to do the same thing for the next 10 years
if only i heard this earlier....Originally posted by ditzy:My exact sentiments. Push yourself as much as you can, see how far you can go. Now that's something worth remembering. Get that resume up and running, you're still eligible for ang pows. Bedok library is for you only when you turn 60. My boss only made his big break past 40, and now he's 60, has trouble walking and visits the doctor more regularly than your trip to bedok library. You can do it dragg, you can do it!!Originally posted by dragg:if only i heard this earlier....
this is the first time you say something positive and encouraging.Originally posted by ditzy:Get that resume up and running, you're still eligible for ang pows.
