How to Take Leave...

Anyone ever told a "white lie" to your company before when you want to take leave?
Like taking MC when you are not sick, said that you need to attend relatives' weddings, etc...

In my line of work, if you take MC; it probably means someone else has to cover for you since its shift based. So anyone who tried to MC to0 often will soon find himself blacklisted
FOr leave, it doesnt matter what excuse you give; its an entitlement, not a priviledge

but problem is i cannot find anyone to cover the classes i m teaching...maybe need to tell the students they shud come on another day la... -

i still have 7 days of leave to clear this year but i'm not sure whether i will be able to clear them or not.
we are ok to take leave but the trouble is, my company is very badly managed. if i were to take leave, there won't be anyone experienced to cover me. -

never.. which is why right now, i'm actually struggling to clear out my leave...
i've written in my leave for christmas week, half of today, half of thursday, and friday...
i've still got 10 days of leave to clear by end of the year!
will probably be taking 20 half-days off -

One minute you are always blamed for screwing up, but when you want to take leave, they suddenly praise you for being invaluable and vital to the workflow.
