Tips when going for job interview

feeling nervous about going for your job interview? don't be. here are some tips. feel free to contribute more for those with experiences.
[*] read up on the company. check their website, ask around. understand what is the company dealing with? what product they are selling etc.
[*] wear formally, and don't forget to shave for men. it's good to leave a good first impression no matter what job and position u are applying for.
[*] sleep early the night before the interview, don't be late.
[*] if the company calls u and let u choose when u want to come for interview, if possible always say 10am in the morning. never choose lunch time slot like 11am to 1pm as they will be going for lunch or 5pm onwards as their mind will be about knocking off and going home.
[*] double check that u have bought everything for the interview, including your own pen.
[*] if this job is recommended by a friend, u will stand a higher chance of getting the job.
[*] if the company is in dire need of hiring and u see that u are the only one applying, u may quote a higher salary.
[*] the company will already have a idea how much they are willing to pay u when u come for the interview. so when they ask you what is your expected salary, always quote a lowest salary u are willing to take and a high salary in a range. for example u can say $1600 to $1800. normally if let say the range u quoted falls in the range they are willing to pay u, they will give u the one in between, like $1700.
never ever just quote a single number, like $1500. cos if they are willing to pay $1600 for u and u quote $1500, they will of course say yes to your $1500. -

When I meet the employer, I'll say:
"Ok, I'll work in your company for one month, I am sure your profit figures will rise in 6 fold!"

when the interviewer finished all his BS question on u and ask u if u got any question for him.... try asking him why he choose this company to work in..... trust mi.. he will sure to remember u after that...and u will see a shock blur look on his face... especially when he himself think he is working in a stupid company.. he wont know how to answer straight away and u can see when he is telling lies about the company..
