Hey does anyone here have any lobang for restringing of racket? My racket's string just broke
There is a uncle who is playing at Wlds SH on every Tues and Fridays 8-10pm at Ct 5. He does stringing .
what type of string you wann restring and @ what tension.
dont take bg65s, they lose tension real quick.
Another one is Opp Sembawang Shoppg Ctr - can call him 4 directions cos his operates his biz @ home : K H Lim 97397960. U can collect yr rackets within1/2 hr. It's more convenient if u hve own transport.
Ooo thanks for your suggestions everybody. But I can't go on weekdays. And sembawang is quite out of the way. But still thanks a lot rpm.
kenn3th: Eh I'm not too sure what kind of string, but my tension normally is 26 to 27 lbs.
Anyway I'm thinking of bringing my racket to Sportslink to be restrung. Anyone tried their service before? Can it be done in one week's time?

racket string just break, must take scissors cut all the other strings starting from the centre.
otherwise the frame might be deformed due to improper tension weightage.
sports link jurong point doesnt offer that service.
Where do you live at?
stringing doesnt take that long.
a few hours the most.
What racket are you using?

Don't think he is a coach. He used to have a sports shop at Sembawang Shoppg Ctr. Now SSC is under renovation, so he operates biz at home. He sells all brands of rackets, shuttles, strings, grips, shoes, t-shirts, bags etc. A very friendly man.

Don't seems to have good comments on Sportslink services. Either the staff gives u a 'heck-care' attitude or they take a few days to return yr racket. N their strings n services r more expensive.
If u can't come on Wkdays, that Uncle also goes to Wlds SH every Sun morning, around 11am+. If u want, I can pm u his no.
To rpm: Actually I don't usually care much about service, but now that you mentioned it, the guy was more busy talking on the phone and attending to me. And their stuff are really expensive. OMG $25 for Yonex BG65 (Sorry kenn3th, forgot about your advice ).
To maa: Thanks for all your recommendations! Shall try them when my string breaks again. Hopefully not too soon as BG65 is supposedly more durable.
if u read from badminton central.
BG65 is not really liked by the members there, cause they lose tensions the quickest, if it is not prestretched.
It's not cheap. for a restringing service.

Bg65 is durable.
For an average leisure player, they will last for years without restringing.
The tension drops quick though.
but for players, they restring frequently.
