  Dear Shuttlers & Friends,
  
  It's X'mas, the season (& excuse) for a good pig-out session! v
  
  So mark your planner for a X'mas dinner gathering this December! Sweating is not compulsary, Racquets are not necessary but a Good Appetite & Lotsa Laughter is highly recommended! And do bring a token Christmas Gift for exchange (suggested budget: $10-$20)!
  
  Date: 22 Dec 07 Sat
  Time: 6.30pm
  
  Venue: Simply Curry Restaurant, Club CSC @ Bukit Batok (see next post for details)
  Cost per pax: $20 per head
  
  Menu: Currylicious Indian Food Buffet including Curry Fish Head & X'mas logcake!
  Programme: Makan makan makan! Xmas games & gift exchange! Own time own target: Pool, Bowling or KTV (all within Club CSC), at own expense
  
  What to wear: Anything you wish or nothing at all !
  What to bring: Christmas Gift for exchange! (Suggested budget: $10 ~ $20)

  i'll definitely give you full support on this except will not consider venues from Points 4, 6-13.
  
  Also, since this invitation is opened to everyone on this thread and suggestions have been called forth, it will only be fair to have a centralized venue...that i myself is staying in CCK area, i will of course say yes to all areas within northwest vicinity but we need to consider for those who stays further away and who might be keen to join us too. Also, form of transport - not many drives although i would definitely suggest car-pooling?
  
  My views [no offence intended]...
  > If venue is at my place which i have no problems with, it's a 5-7mins direct walk [meaning straight road from MRT station] from train station and no issues with any kind of food be it pot luck, catering, cooking at my place directly - i have all the "ka chang" [aka utensils la! hahaha]
  
  > If venue is at Zodi's place, suggest no pot-luck cos then attendees may find it a hassle to bring pots of food [not forgetting that it is not near to train station as well] but instead, do a food catering. Er... Zodi, can i bring my mini mj set to your house if it's the venue? If you have the table, i'll bring the normal set, ke ke ke ...
  
  > no perishables on gift intended for exchange unless it has a 1-year or more expiry date? reason being receivers may not consume straight away...
