erm...if you get those models, then i don't see in what way will you be upgrading then....you will more likely be downgrading.Originally posted by kenn3th:$60 to $70
went out yesterday and saw a carbonex8 selling at 39.90 and a carbonex 6000 @ the same price too, should i get them?
Let's just say that given the variety of brands and the new technology in the newer models, its not worth it to get those 2 models anymore....even at $30+ even if they are Yonex racquets....cos most prob you find them too heavy for your liking also....you should go and have a feel of other racquets......then you will know the difference and why other racquets are more expensive....you pay for what you get.....good Yonex models are the higher end models which will cost at least 160 and above......wouldn't want you to end up spending again on another racquet...you will then really end up spending more money.Originally posted by kenn3th:not really downgrading but the actual price of both carb8 and carb6000 are $60+ so it's kinda a steal to get them at $30 +
Actually the frequency of play wont affect your choice much....budget is the key....even if i recommend the a racquet to you based on your frequency or style of play, you may not be able to afford it based on your budget.....e.g. racquets more durable because you play more often may be more expensive or racquet that perform better or are more solid in the feel will defintely be more expensive due to better materials used......Originally posted by kenn3th:If let's say for a twice weekly player, who is still studing, what models do u recc
