Sports Hall : Hall Booking Regulations?

I just called Tampines Sports Hall to book for 1 Court on Thursday 22 June 6pm.
The reciever replied that booking starts only on Tuesday. And no bookings can be made for days this week - which means even though if i do a walk-in booking on Tuesday. I could only book courts for next week.
So far i understand this.
Let's say. I do a walk-in booking on 20th June.
I could only book courts dated 27 June - 2 July.
I'm super outdated, or have i heard wrongly?
I asked three times rephrasing my questions...i got the same answer.

My friend and I did a walk in booking @ Woodlands Sports Hall just 2 weeks ago. We had a 1hr game.

doesn't sound right leh...
booking opens every tues 7am.... and can be made for that current week up till the following tues...
eg, u booking on 20th jun... can book for courts from 20th to 27th jun... -
