16PF = Cattell's 16 Personality Factor profile - it's a garden-variety personality instrument.
MMPI = Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory - a somewhat more heavy-duty instrument, used to determine if you're a nutjob, and if so, what kind of nutjob you are. Sections of the MMPI are also used as a screening tool for uniformed services or anyhting to do with firearms.
STAI = State-Trait Anxiety Inventory - used to measure your level of anxiety, and to see if it's a short- or long-term thing.
WAIS = Weschler Adult Intelligence Scale - put simply, an IQ test.
I'm certified to administer all of these (amongst others), but the only one that I've touched in the last 2 years is the 16PF. Personally, I'd rather use Raven's Standard and Advanced Pattern Matrices instead of the WAIS to assess someone's level of intelligence - it's quicker and less culture-biased, and it tells me more of what I want to know. -

Sure you can take the tests, but it's gonna cost ya!
All of the publishers for the tests listed will only sell them to qualified psychologists. Of course, this means that you cna't go out and order the test for yourself. Besides, the interpretation of the tests is the important part, and that's mostly what you'll end up paying for.
The 16PF, MMPI and STAI are paper-and-pencil format questions, while the WAIS is administered by a psychologist. -
meaning i haf to see a psychiatrist and he'll get me to sit for the test uh... i see... aiya then i'll forget it

i think i'm abit of a freak... this is the test im interested to take... i wan to find out if i am able to be air traffic controller... can i take huge amount of stress ? i think i can.. jus wan to find out... -

hm... dont scare me leh... but initially i thought the gal he fell in luv wif is the gal lying in the coffin... then comes he killed his sis then it makes no sense to me :S
but still if i got it correct it seems common sense to me.. for example u like to go to sch everyday to see ur crush... lolz wat am i talking :S -
