Well, that's really civil of you, Gazelle, and I say that with no sarcasm whatsoever. However, when I post, I make sure that nothing I write is untrue. If there are any unpleasant facts about me that have been revealed on this forum, they are already known to the people I know and work with (clients included) because in person, I make no effort to hide blemishes either.
I don't define survival instinct the way you do. My policy to everyone I know, be it online or in person is, "This is it - take it or leave it". That way, I don't have to waste energy making sure my back is covered. If you want to call that stupid, feel free - for me it just means that I don't have to worry about backtracking on anything that I say or do, and I'm quite happy with that.
There's one thing you have to realise about psychologists - one cannot be effective on the job if one is hiding any skeletons in his or her closet. I cleared out my crap years ago, and that allows me to focus on my work.
For what it's worth, Gazelle, I would agree that putting the cert up would be stupid if I had anything to hide. -

Actually, you did bring up an interesting point - the PRBV site lists me as Doctor, but the cert doesn't. I've been shortchanged!
