Most of them are actually highly intelligent, with a higher IQ than the average person.
Very interesting.

Heehee I think most of us here know the answer to this question thanks to TV.Originally posted by Gedanken:Ah, forensic psychology!
Some of my peers have gone into that field, but found it wasn't all Silence of the Lambs. They spend their days collecting data by interviewing prisoners, and when a prisoner jumps over the table and attacks them, they can't hit the bugger - instead they have to wait for the guard to come in and deal with it.
Anyway, here's one:
This is a question that's been used to study serial killers:
Ann attends her aunt's funeral and meets a handsome and charming man who she takes a real fancy to. A few weeks later she murders her sister. Why did she do it?
Answer to come later.

Whoever Fights Monsters by Robert K.Ressler & Tom Shachtman
Obession by John Douglas (My hero) and Mark Olshaker

Hmm... maybe I will post some case studies here then we can discuss.
To side track a little, the movie "Saw" that is currently showing in the cinemas features a "serial killer" who doesn't do the actual killing but rather ingeniously devises plans such that another person is used to kill the victim or gets the victim to kill himself/herself.Originally posted by DeadPoet:Ah... we have another one here!

Are the people in the car DEAD...??Originally posted by ratinacage:yes, too many of us knows the answer to this one.
how about this one:
what is the 1st thing that comes to ya mind when the car beside yours crashes into the lamp post??
Personally? My first thought would be a hope that whoever is in the car is OK - I've been in a few bingles myself and safety's a big issue to me. My second thought would be, "How the hell did that happen?", but that's because I've done research work in accident analysis before.Originally posted by ratinacage:yes, too many of us knows the answer to this one.
