Okay let me tell you guys what is the outcome of the investigation lah.
Well, as predicated by Buss et al., and like most of you here, most women (85%)* opted for (b) whereas most men (60%) opted for (a).
HmmÂ…60% is not very significant and this look like bad news for those from the sociobiological perspective. (I will talk about their arguments later) So what happened to the 40% males? Why didnÂ’t they opt for (a) as predicated by the sociobiological theory?
AhÂ… here come the twist.
Further investigation of the 40% males who opted (b) showed that they tended to be males who HAD NOT EXPERIENCED a committed sexual relationship or are still virgins.
*Other sources put it as 83%
That is why I tell you not to state your sex, esp for guys. -
How true is this? Why not you conduct your own survey to find out?
