  hmm can we fix RAM of different speed?

  My own experience says cannot. That time tried to fix one 256MB DDR 266 to my exisiting comp which uses 133. not compatible.

  yes and no
  
  you can install two different speed of ram but they will fall back to the slower speed one. unless you manually adjust the FSB of the ram at bios. this will overclock the ram, which I don't advise you to do that.
  
  performance wise, if you overclock, I think you may perspect it a slight ( or very minor) difference in the beginning.

  DDR and SD rams runs at different voltage, you'll be putting your mainboard at risk if you manage to slot in the rams...
