  NO. other cannot access other parts of your computer.

  seeds/seeder mean , ppl who finish D/L ..but still upload files to downloader.
  you must have at least 1 seeder to download a complete files.

  to keep a BT files running, u need more seeder. the polite way to be a good BT user is to become seeder at least 1hr .
  
  my most sh|t BTing EXP, d/led 99.9% less than 1mb ..all seeder gone.

  sounds like my Beatles download
  
  for 4 days, it went on properly.. then died on me for 2 days with 99% completed.. i kept at it coz it was a 5.3GB download... rewarded with someone seeding it again
  
  was so relieved that i left it "seeded" for 2 more days

  worth the effort!
  
  except the Abbey Road album wasn't complete

  Go right ahead and use it if it gives you the peace of mind. I stopped using it when I realised it was resource heavy on my comp. But so far so good, it blocks more from my regular web-surfing than the bt client itself.
