Cannot play DVDs

  eh,y like that???all my players which includes Media player,Real player,Quick n more....all cant play DVDs,but months ago i can
  
  so wats wif it??? i think i need to update the players,right??? how??download again from website??
  
  p.s. must help me ASAP,i missed R(A) movies liao

  DvD codecs would come under MPEG-2.
  
  From the below link:

  Look for this:
  Moonlight-Elecard MPEG2 Video Decoder v. 2.0 build 3611
  
  and this for the sound output(if necessary):
  Moonlight Odio Dekoda DirectShow® filter

  Another fix is to d/l windows media player classic from:
  
  http://www.free-codecs.com/index.htm
  
  If the video doesn't play, it'll tell you what is missing and a link to the above, or whatever is deemed necessary. Such probllems I have to fix first hand. The solutions I gave are general and should work.

  no dvd-rom reader?
  
  or dvd reader does not support certain dvd standards?

  erm,it stated that it cant play the DVDs coz theres something wrong wif the copyright,but not just for one DVD but lots

  Dont haf your DVD nor your player. I don't know.
