PS2 vs XBox

both are very tempting but got budget for only one, anyone can advise, which one? thanx guys

yeah i thot that too until i saw and compared both their graphics at sim lim. sigh, i kinda cannot decide again....

PS2
pros - have many games, esp i like Biohazards that kind of stuff, got long history, games genre wide and varied.
cons - no online, more ex than others, machine outdated compared to xbox, graphics lose out, got future? whaz the mileage before PS3 comes out? confusing model type like US/Jap/UK, compatibility problem in online gaming later?
XBox
pros - new kid in town, machine very high end, Micro$oft coming big time in gaming, seems like big future, cheaper than PS2 (by $50?)
cons - much smaller game list, no online but already have for 1 year in the US (more established?) -
i still prefer PS2 as most of the good games are from PS2.

kind of wondering......
since most system do not hav online gaming options, don't u feel bored and no challenge at all playing with stoic and predictable AI generated bots from the games?
it is either too easy to begin wif, pridicted after a few rounds or so damn hard that most have to turn to cheat codes to clear the stages?

PS2 and XBOX have online some games already except not in Asia yet. wonder if it ever will come. resident evil outbreak is one typical one game that needs many player to help each other out. seems interesting...Originally posted by 'm back:

today's paper have Bill Gates announced that the XBox is a money losing business. guess PS2 is the winner.
