System Requirements for Counter-Strike

  May somebody advise me on the minimum, recommended system requirements on Counter-Strike ?
  
  Is Half-Life required to install Counter-Strike ?
  
  Where can I download Counter-Strike ?

  Requirements, I not very sure, a 3d card will definately improve graphics.
  I think you definately need to have the half-life cd, and you can download counter-strike from http://www.counter-strike.net
