Good News! As some of you may have heard, the Appeals committee has decided to lift the ban on Half-Life. Thank you all for your support and work in helping this ban be lifted.
Thanks,

Hi Jeremiah,
Remember me? Me and my 14 yr old son use to parton your shop. I am a chinese with a moustache. Anyway, it's truely a great news to all gamers out there.
I would like to Thank Mita for reconsidering the case and came out with a positive verdict. We, gamers are indeed very happy now. Cheers, Jeremiah

Yes,justice prevails! It seems MITA finally realised its mistake at the last minute and proceeded to right the wrongs...just when we feared the imminent worst.
I hope this sends some strong signals to the various players of the local gaming industry...
(1)local game developers, publishers, distributors should relax a bit now, though of course they'll be even more wary of developing/marketing games with copious amounts of violence...which I feel is a good long-term catalyst in moving the FPS genre beyond mindless blood-letting
(2)cybercafes/LAN shops should more strongly enforce age-limit monitoring if they want to be ensured of long-term posterity
(3)parents should realise that running to the authorities crying for help whenever they find themselves in a parenting crisis only serves to diminish whatever's left of the respect in the eyes of their children...they appear inept and inadequate in front of their children when they resort to "playing it dirty",a vile trait the young ones may pick up by example
(4)young gamers are of course not exempt from blame as well...this'll serve as a lesson that immature and irresponsible behaviour will be met with punishment of the same nature
(5)to BFC: like they say,a mistake is an incidental slip of the intellect - best made only once and learnt from with grace...but a deliberate act of plain stupidity is not even worthy of the status accorded to a mistake...make no mistake about this(pun intended),the banning of HL shouldn't be considered a mistake in the first place, and neither should the lifting of the ban be thought of as remedial action of sorts.Wise up first, conduct your duties professionally, and if(naturally, hopefully not) you do bungle up things in the future,we'll accept it as a real mistake and trust you'll have the grace to learn from it...but until then, grow up fast, this furious trend of all things knowledge-based could quickly relegate you to ranks of obsolescence before you can ask "hmm, wait a sec...will this fancy driving game ratchet up accident rates along the PIE?"
Relieved local game developer,
