Question About Catholic Beliefs....

Just asking. No offence ok.
Bible states that only Jesus is sinless. But Catholics view Mary as someone who is sinless too.
And you pray to her to get to God. But Jesus already said only through Him you can get to God.
So how? Why do you view Mary as someone who is much divine? Almost like a Goddess....

If one accepts the doctrine of Original Sin, then it's possible. We all inherit Original Sin because we have normal mothers. Jesus however, is sinless. Since Original Sin can only be inherited, Mary must be free of any sin since Jesus does not have it. We often ask our friends for favours, when we need our friend's friend's help. You know? So when we need the help of Jesus, we too can do the same and ask His Mother to help us ask. The prayers of two combined is more powerful than one person, don't you think?
If we recall the Wedding at Cana, we will see the first case of Marian intercession and Jesus' first public miracle. Mary asks Jesus to help the Bridegroom who has run out of wine. She also tells the servants, 'Do whatever he tells you.' The same applies to us; Mary asks us to do whatever Jesus tells us to do.
Of course, one can always go to God directly. We encourage you.
And since it is All Saints Day, I'd like to remind that we can also ask the Saints for intercession. God's friends are my friends, and can be yours too!
In summary, the Church honours Mary because:
1) She is sinless
2) She is full of grace
3) She is the Mother of Christ
4) She is the perfect woman

Every year when I return to Singapore, I will attain Novena faithfully rain or shine, through the worst of parking spaces, and parking attendants - and yet on the other hand ... sometimes I'll skip Sunday mass
