I am glad that you choose to focus on God's love rather than showing to others how much you can memorise God's words and quoting them. I do encourage people to memorise God's words BUT we must show understandings in them. When we meet with trial and tribulation, it is God's words that comfort us and strengthen us to pull through. So, if we can remember God's words with our heart, it is like hearing God's voice when we meet with difficulties.Originally posted by Honeybunz:I am a born Catholic. But I left and attended Protestant Church after some time.
Years later, I decided to go back to the Catholic Church.
Why? During the period I was attending both Catholic and Protestant Church, I realised that Catholics are not as well versed in the bible as the Protestants. But they preach the God's love and the gospel by their actions instead of merely memorising & quoting exact words from the bible.
So I decided the only way for me to be close to God is to go back to the Catholic Church.
Baptism doesn't make you a follower of Christ. You must believe in your heart.Originally posted by alexkusu:It wasnt a choice.. I was dropped into the pool when I was a baby![]()
