Very suay!

I swear today is one of the most suay day in my life.
See, I wanted to go ice skating at first. The new guy had asked me out to go out today actually, to the movies but I declined because I said I wanted to go skating. But because I took a nap in the evening, I woke up at 8pm. So it was too late to go ice skating already. Then I remembered there was an event in my campus where they served free food, so decided to go there and take a look and of cos go and grab sum food cos I was quite hungry at that time...
Reached there, realized that the event was over already since it started around an hour ago. So have to walk all the way back to my dorm and in the end cooked myself a bowl of ramen to eat....and all the while wishing I had gone to the movie with him.
Tried to finish my homework, I was quite successfull I would say, got 80% of it done. Then my roomate got back, started talking to her and then I decided to go do my laundry. When I got back, I accidentally spilled Tide (a type of detergent I used over here) on the floor carpet. So of cos that was a disaster. Cos now the carper is stained and there will be a gathering at my room tomorrow night. And the whole room smelled like detergent...plus if we dun clean it, the maintenance ppl will charge us for their cleaning fee..
so me and my roomie and her bf tried to get rid of the stain..at least most of them came out after we scrubbed and scrubbed like mad...then realized that the room is quite dirty. So we went to borrow a vacuum cleaner, close the room door and started to vacuum the floor. Halfway thru, we heard this loud banging on our door.
So my roomie went to open the door. Turns out there is this lady outside the door. She looked like a hag, like those fussy spinster you normally see in drama, those that go around scolding people one. So she started scolding me and my roomie for vacuuming so late at night. We must have said sorry at least 20 times but she refused to listen.
She sounded like a talking machine lor. Just keep repeating the same sentence over and over again. She said,"Do you know it is midnite? I am trying to sleep. Yea, I know you apologized. But what good does it do? You woke me up. So saying sorry wun help."
So in the end I just got so annoyed, I asked her what do you want us to do then? Want me to sing you to sleep a (super sarcastic tone)
She went back to her room and slammed the door. I have a feeling she is going to hate me forever now. And it doesnt help that she stayed rght opposite my room. So tomorrow's gathering have to be moved sumwhere else less she comes in and spoil the fun by bitching abt the noise we make.

reminds me of a story heard from a friend of mine....can't remember exactly but here's how it goes,
Ah Suay n Ah Heng were at a park...(They are total strangers)
Ah Suay didn't have his day...so he was miserable n sad....
Ah Heng saw Ah Suay very sad so tried to console him...
Ah Heng smiled and said "isn't it a lovely sunny day?"
suay just murmured some 'yes' or 'no' showing he wasn't interested to talk to anyone...
Heng cldn't do anything but to continue enjoy the nice weather n surrounding.
Then came along Happy who walked past them...He spotted a dollar coin on the floor near suay n heng...and thot the coin belong to either of them..
Who Happy approached first?
Happy approached Ah Heng first, as Ah Suay was too preoccupied with his worries to take note of his surrounding.
Happy: "Is this your coin"
Ah Heng: "Most probably. I always keeping dropping coins. That's very nice of you as most ppl wld kept it for themselves... thank you"
Happy:"When I see your warm smile, I couldn't do anything but to return the coin to its rightful owner"
Ah Heng: "what a nice thing to say...Let me treat u to kopi"
They left.
The coin actually belongs to Ah Suay's. -
