Can feelings be developed over time?

  Try not to think that way... low self esteem ain't healthy and will only complicate things

  like during his bday oso i did nth, i just went out wif him for dinner and a movie, also he paid for evthing even tho i insisted i wanted to pay for him...then he sent an e-mail after dat to say thank you for celebrating his bday wif him, make it so memorable la...haihz...
  
  feels like he likes me too much oledi lor...mebbe cos i m not used to the idea of sumone actually likeing me, not the other way round...

  yeah... actually a thank you sms/email/msn msg blah blah.... after a date or outing is very nice and heart-warming already... that's me lah....

  there were tears on my cheeks..obviously I have been crying even when I was sleeping..I was crying subconsciously...

  dun force yrself to forget him, it seems the more u force yrself to do something, the other way yr subconcious will wander. reminds me of a close fren i have.. always feel inferior oso... and all..

  icy, sometimes it's not about forgetting that special someone, at times it's about not thinking abt him/her. jus immerse urself in ur studies and ur friends... never lose sight of the reason u're there for . . . it's not for him. it's for urself. best wishes....

  to be honest, i oso dunnoe what to do next in such a situation but to me, i will never go into another r/s becuz i wan to feel better, so if im going to suffer, den juz let it be me can liao.. isn't the idea of making used of people who cared for you to feel better is just as torturous?
  
  besides, i would be so happy if someone dat i like, likes me without guilt, obligations nor pressure. guess im really naive inside bah.
  
  in any case, what if after u accept this new guy, the one you truely like suddenly say, he realised that he actually likes you too?
