Should I give?

Hehe...actually got another question I need opinion on...
Alrite, mebbe soem of you know that I like a guy very very much. His bday is coming. yea I know. I am a loser. a moron. I shouldn't be remembering that. Then I remmeber last time we went on a trip together he saw this thing (it is a wood carving) that he likes very much but he din get it cos it was too expensive. So I surfed the Net and found one that looks similar but it is cheaper but actually it is still expensive la (original price was 120, the one online is 50)
So my question is....should I get it for him or not? Do you think he might know my feelings for him once I give him that as a present? But really feel like getting it for him altho if I really get it, it means my whole week of salary gone la...actually I dun mind lor, it is just how he thinks about this bothers me. Like is it very revealing that I have feelings for him once I give him that gift? He would know it is not cheap...

it's up to u whether to give or not lor, but this will not change his feelings for you...
for guys, if he likes u, a 'happy bday' will do, hint him a little n he will do the rest if interested... -

u shud use it as an excuse to express ur love
if it's too much of a financial burden, something hand made would also
be nice.
the item given should be a stepping board for your relationship and not something actual that u build it on like in primary school
