Do you trust your first impression and judgement?

  Do you think that we should trust our first impression of a person? Or the rumors we heard about a person before we get to know them? I have a friend who trusted all that and she will even go to the extent of not getting to know the person just because others bad-mouthed him or her.Her excuse is, if so many people dislike that person..how can she/he be of any good?
  
  I, for one, are very much against a person who try to judge and generalize a person's personality even before he/she gets to know the other party. I hate all judgemental people in fact. That's why in my friendster, I said I would like to meet people who are non-judgemental because I think they so much nicer to be with, you dun need to be on your guard 24/7 to put on your best behavior, you can just be yourself and they will still accept you as friends.
  
  Anyway I am going off for this week...cos my finals are coming and obviously I need to get rid of my addiction to this forum for this week at least if I still wan to pass my finals So anyway I will be back after my finals, dat will be my holiday time oledi, so be prepared to see me haunting this place at all time haha. Anyway I know I can trust my trustworthy mods to mantain and manage this forum until I make my appearance again, right Foga and SgBoy?

  Frankly speaking I never trust my first impression on a person. There's more to it than meets the eye.

  I trust my instincts, be it in person, over the net, over the phone and so for. So far, it hasn't proven me wrong.

  Nearly all my closest frens and colleagues disliked me at first impression. Reasons include: 1) i happened to be in a lousy mood on Orientation Day, 2) my face looks 'dao' when not smiling or 3) i simply need more time to warm up to a new friendship. All my buddies will definitely agree that 1st impression don't count at all! ha...
