Finally one of my cherished dream is about to come true...have always wanted to go to Europe ever since I was small and I think I am going this summer. Going on a tour, will prolly cost me around USD1500 to USD2000, but well it is worth the price I think
So here is the itinerary
Copied it strait from the tour website tho
Day 1: London to Amsterdam
We depart from Park Lane, London at 8am sharp! and travel down to Dover, from here we take the ferry across to France . WeÂ’ll transit through France and Belgium to Holland and its capital, Amsterdam. Opportunity to head into town tonight or rest and get to know each other over delicious dinner or by the pool table at the campsite restaurant.
Day 2: Amsterdam and Volendam
After breakfast, we drive to the picturesque Dutch fishing and cheese village of Volendam. Why not try the variety of seafood and have your picture taken in a traditional Dutch costume. You also have the opportunity of standing on the dam (barrier built along Holland to hold back sea water) and marvel at the fact that most of Holland is below sea level. Don't forget to pose for a memorable picture by the windmills. Starting from noon we spend the rest of the day (and night if you wish) in Amsterdam city centre. You can take a boat ride by the many canals, shopping for tulips, visit the Anne Frank's Museum, collect another of your Hard Rock Café's T-shirt or take a peek at the infamous red light district.
Day 3: To Heidelberg
We head south east crossing into Germany today. By late afternoon we will arrive at Heidelberg. You can climb the ruined castle on the hill or take the furnicular up. You can visit the student prison in this university town. Don't miss taking a panoramic photo of the old bridge, the old town with the castle on top of the hill as the background and shop at the traditional market surrounding the historical town church. You might want to have your lunch at the oldest McDonald's in Europe built for the American army to feel at home during the world war. We will also be camping in Heidelberg.
Day 4: Heidelberg to Innsbruck.
By late afternoon we will reach Neuchwanstein castle. Built by King Ludwig, this casle is the fairiest of all the fairy castles, situated on top of a hill surrounded by mountains and lakes. Mr Disney was inspired by this particular castle when he built his Disneyland fairy tale castle. We then continue our journey into Austria towards our campsite
Beautiful pics taken from various websites which I have googled up
More to come...
