Stunned

  Just got news that one of my friends here is terminally ill. He is going back to Malaysia for further treatment...can't even complete his studies here
  
  I am not that close to him, but still I was stunned when I heard about this. I dunno why...din expect it I guess. He is leaving for Malaysia 2 days from now and everyone is at his place now to pay him a last visit. And I can't even go cos I have lots of work tonight...

  A pri sch classmate of mine suddenly collapsed n passed away.. though i wasnt close to him.. nevertheless i was stunned n sad..

  Have u noticed that when something happens to someone we know or close to us,or someone is going to leave us,then we take notice of them?
  Icy,if this friend of urs din have this illness,would u have mentioned him in sgforums or started a thread in ~Life~ about him?

  Haiz, what you said is true also. I am not very close to him, but he is supposed to be moving into my dorm next year one lor, and his roomie is supposed to be one of my closest guy friends. So now my guy friend is feeling even more remorseful than me I guess...the rest of us are just shocked by the realization of how fragile life can be at times...
